About Robyn

My name is Robyn and I am an author and certified life coach.

I live in the gorgeous Pacific Northwest with the love of my life, one of my sons, and a cat.

I was born in Utah, but raised by my grandparents in South Texas. My mom was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis when I was 4 years old and we moved to Texas so my grandparents could help take care of me, my brothers, and my mom. Being the girl, I became the main caregiver to my mom when I wasn’t in school. She passed away when I was 14.

In my adult life, I have lived in Texas, Idaho, Mississippi, California, Alaska, and Oregon.

In my life I have been a wife, a mother, a fast food worker, a med-aide at an assisted living, a job developer for developmentally delayed adults, an administrator of an alzheimer’s unit, an employee for a temp agency, have worked at a sand and gravel pit, a life coach and a social media director.

I have also been in relationships. Good ones. Bad ones. I have dealt with various people who are oppressive, selfish, co-dependent, and I have had people in my life who want nothing more than for me to shine.

Hobbies in my life have included writing, woodworking, tole painting, pottery, painting, photography, and bookbinding.

I shared my love for photography with my Dad, who passed away in 2010. He encouraged me with every photo I took.  He taught me to see beauty in every moment of every day.

I became a published author in 2012 with a guided journal to help deal with grief, it was followed by a guided journal to help remember your joy, then a book including photos of the amazing water in my area and inspirational quotes and my first novel.  These can all be found here.
